Travellers come year round, staying in local backpackers, to join the team for the various seasonal work we have available. One day picking fruit, the next pulling mussels – if you’d love to work outdoors with some of NZ’s best produce, this is the perfect place to be, whether for a year or a short visit.

National Manager - Regional Branches
Dylan can often be found out on the road catching up with the great AWF crew. Having managed teams across the country since 2010, he is passionate about seeing people succeed and grow to their full potential. Dylan loves the great South Island outdoors and also manages to sneak in the odd round of golf on the weekends.

Lauren Deacon
Branch Manager
Working with a wide variety of individuals within Marlborough’s diverse and dynamic community has been a constant in Laurens career, from non-profit organisations to corporate sales. With over 10yrs of experience empowering and mentoring others, she is proudly and passionately ‘all about our people’ and helping them reach their full individual potential. Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her children and husband, exploring the great outdoors and being an active family.

Melanie Kenton
Recruitment Consultant
Melanie comes from a recruitment background with four years of experience working for a global company and working in the social development industry. In addition, she has previously been employed as a compliance manager and industry trainer. Within her role Melanie gets satisfaction from helping others to achieve their employment goals, but also encouraging others to build confidence to step outside their comfort zone and try new experiences. Outside of work you can find her exploring the backyard with her daughter, hanging out with her teenage son, or enjoying an array of good food.

Sara Whitfield
Recruitment Consultant
Sara has extensive customer service and recruitment experience and a vast knowledge of the infrastructure sector, which she utilises daily in her role as Recruitment Consultant. Day to day Sara takes pride in building strong relationships with both clients and candidates and is a driving force behind helping our community reach their full potential in the workforce. Outside of work Sara is an avid gardener and an active Mum with her busy energetic family.
