A well-established family-owned business based in East Tamaki is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor with a proven background of delivering excellent customer service with a desire to help grow the parts side of our business and deliver customer service excellence to their valued customers

This role will be varied within their maintenance team to assist in servicing and repairs of heavy plant and equipment, small plant and equipment, and trucks. We need someone who can work not only within a team but also works well autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with customers and staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Booking service and repair appointments.
  • Quotations, costing, and invoice completion.
  • Liaising between our Workshop Technicians and customers ensuring they are kept well informed of their vehicle's progress during service and/or repair.
  • Providing support and direction as required to the Service Manager and a team of Service Advisors.


Requirements:

  • Prior automotive parts experience is required
  • Solid computer literacy skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Eligibility to work in NZ
