About the role:
As a Class 2 Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting eggs from farm to farm throughout the Taranaki Region. You will be responsible for driving and operating a Class 2 vehicle while maintaining a strong focus on animal welfare and safety standards. Your reliability and physical fitness will be essential in carrying out your duties independently and effectively.
Responsibilites:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines
- Demonstrate a consideration and understanding of animal welfare
- Assist with farm labouring tasks as and when required
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour as required
- Strong concern for animal welfare and a proactive approach to ensuring their well-being.
- Excellent reliability and ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines
