Our client, a locally owned and operated family business are seeking a skilled and experienced INDUSTRIAL SPRAY PAINTER to join their close-knit Dunedin team.

Workshop based, you will be working on a variety of industrial and engineering products.

You will perform all aspects of painting, including surface preparation, masking, priming, and top-coat application. Conducting prep work, including sanding, cleaning, and taping.

This is a hands-on practical role and would suit someone who has manual dexterity and an eye for detail and quality control.

Let's talk about you:

  • You will have proven experience as a spray painter (ideally Industrial experience)
  • Strong knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques.
  • Proficient in using spray guns, sanders, and other painting equipment.
  • Love doing practical hands on work
  • Have an eye for detail/quality control
  • Be a team player and also able to work autonomously
  • Be physically fit and agile
  • Have good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Are reliable with a 'can do' attitude
  • Are familiar and compliant with industry personal protective requirements
  • Understanding of HSE responsibilities

MUST hold a Full NZ Drivers Licence.

DESIRABLE: Valid OSH and an F endorsement, Confined Spaces certification.
