# Overview

We are looking for a skilled Traffic Controller to join our clients team. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in various settings, including construction sites, events, and roadworks. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a strong focus on safety will be critical to your success in this role.

# Responsibilities

- Direct traffic and ensure the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians
- Set up and remove traffic control equipment as needed
- Monitor and communicate traffic patterns and potential hazards
- Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate traffic control efforts
- Report any incidents or issues to the appropriate authorities

# Qualifications

- Full Class 1 licence - would consider restricted.
- Certification as a Traffic Controller
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions
