Learning new skills is a goal for many Kiwis.
Derick has achieved this goal through training and welcoming new opportunities we've offered him.
After leaving high school, Derick Tangata needed to find work so he could support his family. Working for us has allowed him to learn a range of new skills, from operating a roller and driving manual trucks, to getting the certificates and tickets he needs to work as a galvaniser. It just goes to show that a little determination can open up a range of opportunities you didn’t know were available.
