Key Responsibilities:
Managing the hiring of construction and civil machinery / equipment. This includes:
- Meeting customers and managing the hire process whilst providing awesome customer service
- Overseeing and assisting with the loading or delivery of equipment
- Completing hire paper / computer work
- Managing the machinery onsite including basic mechanical checking, refuelling and reporting any damages
- Cleaning the equipment and moving it back to their assigned positions
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy and uncluttered

Role is based in Amberley (90%) and Rangiora (10%) with the ability to assist in Hornby (travel covered) as required
Work hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm - 47.5 hours per week. Must be able to work overtime if required
Requirements:
- Experience with civil or construction equipment
- Experience dealing with customers or clients
- Physically fit and able to clean, climb on / under large equipment
- Excellent spoken and written English including great handwriting
- Full Class 1 (car) drivers licence is a must
- Previous experience within the hire industry would be a bonus
- Forklift experience and F, W, T, R licence endorsements would be a bonus
Must be living in and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand - NZ / Aust Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency. Please do not apply if you are not in New Zealand. Position is not suitable for visa sponsorship.
